Link building services for small business
Four placements on real sites that mention you, with the toxic links cleaned out. You approve every target first and see every live link on your board.
Fewer links, from sites you would be glad to be on
A small business does not need hundreds of links. It needs a handful from sites that are relevant to what it sells, and none of the spammy ones that cheap packages leave behind. Google has spent years learning to ignore paid and automated links, and a profile full of them can hold a site back. So this sprint does two jobs: it earns a set number of placements on real sites, and it cleans up the links that are already working against you.
What the sprint includes
4 placements at the small tier, 8 placements at mid. The audit and cleanup come with either.
The audit
- Your backlink profile read for authority, anchor text and links that could hurt you
- Toxic links listed, with removal requests or a disavow file where removal fails
The placements
- Outreach targets agreed with you before anyone is contacted
- Pitches and follow-ups written and sent by us
- Each placement recorded with its live URL, the page it links to and the anchor used
How the sprint runs
Audit the links you have
We pull your backlink profile and read it: who links to you, with what words, and which links look like the kind Google discounts or penalises.
On your board: the sprint card with its scope and end date.
Agree the targets
A list of real sites that fit your business, with the reason each one is on it. You strike out anything you do not want your name next to. Nothing goes out before you sign it off.
On your board: the target list as tasks.
Outreach and cleanup
We pitch and follow up with each target, while the toxic links are worked through in parallel.
On your board: each target moving, and each live link recorded as it lands.
Report and hand over
Every placement with its live URL, the cleanup done, and what we would do next, whether that is with us or not.
On your board: the closing update and every output in one list.
A sprint against the usual link package
| This sprint | A typical package | |
|---|---|---|
| What you buy | 4 placements, agreed up front | A monthly fee for "link building activity" |
| Where links go | Sites you approved before outreach | Sites you hear about afterwards, if at all |
| Bad links you already have | Audited and cleaned in the same sprint | Often a separate service, or ignored |
| Proof | Every live URL on your board | A monthly report |
| When it ends | 6 to 8 weeks | When you cancel |
Price
Fixed, paid at order. The tier follows the size of your site, and we confirm it before you pay.
| Site size | Placements | Length | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Up to 20 pages, or one location | 4 placements | 6 to 8 weeks | $1,500 |
| Up to 50 pages, or three locations | 8 placements | 6 to 8 weeks | $2,800 |
| Anything bigger, quoted before you commit | Quoted | 6 to 8 weeks | Quoted |
The toxic link audit and cleanup are part of the price, not an extra. All prices
Questions we get
How much does link building cost?
Ours is $1,500 for 4 placements on a site up to 20 pages, or $2,800 for 8 placements, with the toxic link cleanup included. Elsewhere you will see a price per link or a monthly retainer. Whatever the model, ask where the links will be and whether you approve the sites first.
What is a link building service?
Someone getting other websites to link to yours: by pitching a story, a resource or an expert quote to sites your customers read. Links are one of the ways Google judges which sites to trust. A good service gets a few links from relevant sites; a bad one gets many from sites nobody visits.
How do I choose a link building agency?
Ask to see the kind of sites they place on, ask whether you approve targets before outreach, and ask what happens to links that turn out to be bad. Be wary of anyone selling links by the hundred or promising rankings. Those are the links Google is built to ignore.
What is a link building sprint?
A fixed piece of link work with a set number of placements, a fixed price and an end date, instead of an open monthly fee. Ours runs 6 to 8 weeks because outreach depends on other people replying.
Will these links improve my rankings?
Links from relevant sites help, but they are one input among many and we do not promise positions. If Google cannot read your site properly, links will not fix that, which is why we sometimes suggest technical SEO first.
Do you offer white-label link building for agencies?
Yes. Agencies order the sprint at the partner rate, 25 to 35 percent off list, and deliver it under their own name. The board and the report carry your branding, and we never contact your client.
